Trying to stay awake during class

I'm trying to stay awake right now. I got plenty of sleep last night, but I still feel tired. That's the joy of being a woman. Feeling exhausted once a month when you know you've slept for hours and hours. I would like to take a nap this afternoon, but today is meeting day for newspaper. I haven't eaten anything yet today, so when we get our pizza at 3 p.m., I'm going to scarf down! Haha, I think that sounds funny.

Tonight is the first rehearsal for "Murder on Center Stage", the TCP play that Molly and I are participating in. Molly's not going to be able to show up, so I'm going to have to go by myself. Eek! I'm kind of nervous about it. My role is a drama teacher named Helen, or Mrs. B. Originally, the character is supposed to be in her 50s. So I don't know if our director is wanting to put me in makeup or if I'm supposed to be a younger teacher. There are 3 other characters that are supposed to be my age. Miss Shotwell, an English teacher, Jessica, a janitor, and Mr. Stanley, another Janitor (played by Mike Phillips, everyone's favorite). So I guess I'll find out tonight if I'm going to have to act older or not.

Last night, Molly spent the night out in the pool house with me. I felt bad because she fell asleep a lot sooner than I did, and I couldn't sleep so I left a light on for a while. She passed out on the couch, while I slept in my bed. I offered her my bed, but she said no. She was working on homework, while I was working on a puzzle. We had "Lost" on in the background; I'm trying to get her caught up for the new season. It's such an interesting show. I can feel myself getting sucked into this show just like I do with every other show I enjoy. I've already watched all the special featurettes on the DVD...

So now I'm back at work and I have to go pick up pop because everyone else in newspaper sucks! Not really, they're actually all quite wonderful. They just have busy Tuesday/Thursday schedules, so they can't leave to go to the store. I really don't like getting pop, especially because after you do it for a while, everyone expects you to be their servant. You know, "Sarah, why don't we have any pop?" "Sarah, when are you going back to the store to get me some more caffeine?" "Sarah, why don't you go buy us some pop now so that it can be cold by the time pizza gets here?" There are only a few people in this office who can tell me what to do, and all these people who say this stuff to me aren't in that group. Well, I better get going. If I'm going to have that pop cooled off in time for the pizza, I only have about an hour.
