WEB DESIGN WITH KEVIN STRETCH!
I all caps-ed the title because I thought it might make it sound like I was singing it loudly (at least that's how I imagined saying it in my head). Call me if you want to hear it.
What can I say about my web design class? It is without a doubt one of the most interesting classes I've ever taken. Well, maybe not the most interesting, but it keeps me awake. I used to be so interested in websites when the Internet first came out. I got myself some free web space on Geocities (plug for them) and made my own site. I typed in the HTML code all by myself and had enough of a page to have a link or two on it. Of course I don't think anyone ever visited my site, but that's not the point. The point is I made a website. Now, here I am, almost 10 years later, and I have no freakin' way of knowing how to do HTML code. That's why I want to thank God for Kevin Stretch.
Kevin Stretch offers a class in web design without actually having to learn all of the HTML code. Although I may have been capable of doing HTML code 10 years ago, I am incompetent when it comes to that stuff now. This class allows you to create intricate and creative designs for a page without the hassle of typing in tons of letters and slashes and numbers that I probably wouldn't even understand.
Stretch is such a nice man, too. He is bald, and since he has a good sense of humor, he gives extra credit points if you submit bald jokes about him. I can't ever think of any good ones. When I tease Dad about being bald, all I have to say to upset him is, "Hey, you're bald." On top of the bald jokes, he is willing to work individually with each student to help them make the best site they can. He has already made several helpful suggestions for my site.
Anyway, it has been a while since I posted, and I had been planning on working on this one for a long time, but never found time to complete it. So, here it is!
